Orange County
Estate Cleanouts in Orange, VA
The county seat, about thirty-five minutes north of Charlottesville on Route 20.
The Town of Orange is the far end of the regular northern run: past Barboursville, short of a half hour more. Houses around the courthouse and along Main Street are older, often with full attics and basements. Out toward Montpelier the lots open up.
Families here usually call for the same reason as in Charlottesville — a death, a move to a smaller place, or a listing that needs empty rooms — with a bit more driving on the front end.
Older downtown houses
Narrow stairs and low cellar doors are typical around the courthouse. Mention a third floor or a bulkhead entrance so the team brings the right path out.
Schedule it as its own stop
Orange is far enough from town that it is planned as a dedicated job, not a tag-on to a city route. Same-week is still realistic for a single house.
